Lighting

We really wanted to show the contrast between our the lighting on our two locations. The park and an ordinary room. The lighting would help reflect the mood of the shots.

Filming outside in the park was pretty easy to get the right mood we wanted. We needed to show the fact the little girl was pure and innocent so we filmed at midday when it was brightest with few clouds. This was exactly the effect we wanted - the daylight representing the good side.







On the other hand we wanted the complete opposite, almost darkness in the room and only enough light to see shadows of people. The mood here obviously dark and creating a sense of evil, bad. This completely contrasting from the park scene and representing the mood of these characters and actions.
